The filters, shown in this leaflet, are designed for installation on commercial refrigerating systems and on civil and industrial conditioning plants. Filters series DF2 and series DF3 have been developed for specific installations on refrigerating systems using HFC refrigerant fluids, particularly R134a , R404A , R407C , R410A and R507 mixed with POE lubricants. In spite of this, the new block may be successfully used also in refrigerating systems using the old CFC or HCFC refrigerant fluids, mixed with mineral lubricants.
Thye safety valves series 3061 and 3065 are safety devices according to the definition given in Article 1, Point 2.1.3, 2nd dash of 97/23/EC Directive and are the subject of Article 3, Point 1.4) of aforesaid Directive. The valves above mentioned are direct-loaded type, unbalanced, conveyed discharge. Valve opening is produced by the thrust the fluid under pressure exerts on the disc, when said thrust exceeds, under setting conditions, the opposing force of the spring acting on the disc. The safety valves series 3061 and 3065 are manufactured in accordance with European standard EN ISO 4126-1: 2013, relative either to the design / construction of the valves or to the functional characteristics of the same.
The check valves, shown in this document, are classified “Pressure accessories” in the sense of the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC, Article 1, Section 2.1.4 and are subject of Article 3, Section 1.3 of the same Directive. They are designed for installation on commercial refrigerating systems and on civil and industrial conditioning plants, which use the following refrigerant fluids: R134a , R404A , R407C , R410A ; R507. For specific applications with refrigerant fluids not listed above, always proper to the Group II, please contact Castel Technical Department.
Solenoid valves are designed for installation on commercial refrigeration systems and civil and industrial air conditioning systems employing the following refrigerants: R22, R134a, R404A, R407C, R410A; R507 in Group II. Contact Castel’s Technical Office for information on specific applications with refrigerants which are not listed above but do belong to Group II.
Available in normally closed or NC and normally open or NO versions, with connections from ¼" to 2.1/8" and a vast range of reels and connectors.
The new Angleway check valves 3184/3185 are designed for installation on commercial refrigerating systems and on civil and industrial conditioning plants, which use the following refrigerant fluids: R134a, R404A, R407C, R410A, R507. These check valves are approved by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. of the United States according to UL 207 Standard.
Check valves are available in the following two types:
Type 3184 (standard spring) that guarantees a low opening pressure differential.
Type 3185 (reinforced spring) that guarantees a higher opening pressure differential, for eemple to use on plant with compressors connected in parallel.
Filters and liquid/humidity indicators are designed for installation on commercial refrigeration systems and civil and industrial air conditioning systems employing Group II refrigerants.
Filter driers are available in a hermetically sealed version or with a solid exchangeable cartridge.
Hermetically sealed filters are supplied in the standard drier version, series 43, anti-acid series 42, bi-directional flow series 46, with indicator series 41 and mechanical series 45.
Filters with a solid exchangeable cartridge are available in packages of 1 to 4 standard drier, anti-acid or mechanical cartridges.
Liquid/humidity indicators are available with welded or flare connections in a monitoring only version, series 38, or monitoring + humidity detection, series 37 and 39.
Series 3030 and 3060 valves are safety accessories according to the definition contained in Directive 97/23/CE and are subject to the requirements of the Directive.
These valves are conventional unbalanced direct load safety valves.
Series 3070 rupture discs are pressure limiting devices which open at a certain pressure and cannot be reclosed.
