K SERIES WITH ECOLINE COMPRESSORS

An optimally coordinated range of condensing units with the efficient and robust BITZER compressors and high efficiency shell and tube condensers from the K-3 series.

LHE SERIES WITH 2ND GENERATION 2-STAGE COMPRESSORS

With the implementation of the Ecodesign Directive, fans will be subject to stricter efficiency requirements from 2015, and condensing units from 2016. The new air cooled LHE condensing units from BITZER meet these criteria and boast an optimized combination of fans and condenser. They’re taking the place of the previous models with the same connection sizes, making replacement simple. As a modular system, they’re available in several configuration levels and with single and tandem compressors.

L SERIES WITH 0-VII COMPRESSORS

Coordinated combinations of the proven open 2-cylinder compressors with air cooled condensers and collectors.

K SERIES WITH 0-VII COMPRESSORS

Open condensing units water cooled for belt drive

The compact screws of the new CSW series are optimised for use in R134a liquid chillers operating under low saturation discharge temperatures. As a result, they are compatible with systems with water cooled condensers, process cooling and systems with air cooled condensers operating under moderate climatic conditions. Thanks to their targeted development for these applications, their efficiency under full-load – and especially under part-load – was significantly increased. Additionally, the application limits under low saturation discharge temperatures were greatly expanded. Therefore, this series of compressors boasts ESEER/IPLV* values which greatly surpass the conventional international standards for compact screw compressors.

The CSVH series is a unique new development in the field of compact screw compressors, specially developed for speed control and optimised for use in air cooled liquid chillers and heat pumps. The efficient, proven and reliable engineering of the CSH series and many years of experience with speed-controlled compressors form a sound foundation. The CSVH compressor series significantly simplifies the installation and safe use of speed-controlled compressors in air conditioning, process cooling and heat pump applications, thanks to integrated frequency inverters, sensors for compressor protection and monitoring, and solenoid valves (Vi control and liquid injection) in a single prewired package.

The CSVW series is a unique new development in the field of compact screw compressors, specially developed for speed control and optimised for use in water cooled liquid chillers as well as in air cooled liquid chillers with low condensing temperature. The efficient, proven and reliable engineering of the CSW series and many years of experience with speed-controlled compressors form a sound foundation. The CSVW compressor series significantly simplifies the installation and safe use of speed-controlled compressors in air conditioning and process cooling, thanks to integrated frequency inverters, sensors for compressor protection and monitoring, and solenoid valves (Vi control and liquid injection) in a single prewired package.

OSK = Application for air-conditioning and medium temperature cooling

Over a period of many years, BITZER’s open screw compressors have established a reputation as a robust and efficient market solution. They’re used on their own and in parallel operation with several compressors and a shared oil separator. The combination of open compressor and external standard motors makes the entire series exceptionally flexible and facilitates operation at different supply voltages. With the corresponding accessories such as couplings and coupling housing, BITZER ensures a simple and secure connection between compressor and external standard motor. Another advantage is that the refrigerant circuit and electrical drive are separate, which simplifies maintenance and repair, promoting utilisation in many special applications in particular, including in the chemistry and pharmaceutical industries, and resulting in the use of OS screw compressors on ships.
